Another Great Week With Daniel

Another Great Week With Daniel

These weeks are precious. This time we went out every day and had as much fun as possible!!

1)Bristol - A walk around Clifton and then over the Suspension Bridge. Then off into Bristol to eventually watch "Monsters University". Back in time for Taekwondo.

2)Drayton Manor - Quick stop off at Villa Park to buy a full away kit and then a day of fun at the Theme Park. Pretty busy as expected but we stayed till late and did virtually all the rides we wanted to.

3)Nipped down to Swindon and then had Lunch at the 12 Bells. Didn't stray too far after that because of Swimming later.

4) Legoland! Great day - spent 10 hours on our feet but had a blast, especially with the QBot!! Stayed overnight in a hotel a few miles away - it was a fun adventure.

5) Drove back from London, took it easy before TKD at 4.30.

6) Took Daniel to Aston Villa v Liverpool as a present for his excellent school report. Had a great time before and after, pity about the result.

Our Week 15-19 August 2011

Our Week 15-19 August 2011

Our days together during the week are precious and few so we always make the most of them.

On Monday we went to Swindon - he went mad in the inflatable area and in the play area where his confidence is surging following being able to ride his bike. When we got home we went to "The Wagon & Horses" and had some lunch. Later I took him to Taekwondo where he continued to do very well.

Tuesday was a full day at Drayton Manor. The Ben 10 ride was new and we really enjoyed it. Although it was busy we got on everything we wanted to and capped it by going on two of the more "adult" rides which Daniel's now big enough for. The Log-Flume was great which included the big drop at the end and getting wet!

Wednesday was spent with Uncle Darren and Jen and we popped out for a lunchtime meal. Daniel loves playing their X-Box Kinnect and playing with Buster the dog.

Thursday was to have been Cattle Country but the weather was terrible - so we went to see The Smurfs in 3D at Gloucester which was great.

Friday was Cattle Country day as the weather was much better. He enjoyed it so much and again went on pretty much everything he could!

It was a great week, so much fun for both of us and again, one I won't forget. The song of the week was definitely this one - Bowling For Soup's song for the Phinues & Ferb cartoon.

His Daddy loves him so much he'll never know!

Drayton Manor

Our Day At Drayton Manor

On Friday 23rd July Daniel and Me headed for Drayton Manor.

It was a surprise so his excited squeal when he realised where he was going made it all worthwhile for me.

We did all the rides in Thomasland that he likes including Cranky for the first time! We went on a nice boat trip and saw plenty of animals. Daniel ended up getting wet by standing a bit close to the log flume - next time we'll go on it ourselves.

The day meant so much to me. I don't get many of them that I enjoy like that - he means the world to me and keeps me going in ways he'll never realise.

His Dad loves him unconditionally and always will.

My life is so negative these days and there are few bright points about it. Friday was one of those few bright points.

I love you Daniel - my little munchkin.

Daniel's Last Training Day 09/10

Daniel & all his friends have their final training day of the season. A very enjoyable day, and enjoyable experience all year. We're lucky to have a very supportive group of parents around us and look forward to meeting up again in September!

Daniel has come along very well - just needs to concentrate and toughen up a little. If he can duplicate what he does in the back garden he'll be fine.

No 1 in importance is that he's loved it - he hasn't missed one session
